Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to help East Coast ecommerce customers migrate and modernize workloads on AWS.

You will drive technical strategy, educate customers on cloud-based retail workloads, and participate in architecture discussions to improve scalability and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include enabling sessions, publishing best practices, and building executive-level relationships to accelerate cloud adoption in the Retail, Restaurants & Consumer Goods

Qualifications

• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 2+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Knowledge of cloud architecture

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and migrating ecommerce applications, platforms, and services onto AWS.
• Formulate and execute a technical strategy aligned to growth and transformation goals of East Coast ecommerce customers.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS for retail and ecommerce workloads and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Conduct enablement sessions to transfer knowledge to ecommerce customers considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Build relationships with senior technical stakeholders to enable cloud advocacy and digital transformation.
