Job summary
F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical architect and advisor for Fortune 500 customers across North America. You will design, champion, and sell modern application delivery and security solutions in multi-cloud, hybrid, and edge environments, partnering with Sales and Account teams to meet targets.
You will lead technical discovery, validate designs, and demonstrate solutions such as WAAP, DDoS mitigation, and Zero Trust access while aligning with product
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of pre-sales engineering, systems engineering, or related solutions architecture experience.
- Knowledge of securing mobility interfaces, DNS, WAF, and Layer 4–7 awareness.
- Basic Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies understanding; familiarity with containers and orchestration.
- Automation with scripting or declarative configuration tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitOps).
Responsibilities
- Design, champion, and sell modern F5 application delivery and security solutions.
- Lead technical discovery, design validations, and solution demonstrations across WAAP and related areas.
- Bridge security and developer velocity with declarative workflows and IaC practices.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps and address customer needs.
- Engage Fortune 500 enterprises and drive alignment with sales targets in North America.
