Job summary

Sompo is seeking a Solutions Architect to join the IT team. This role designs end-to-end technology solutions across insurance and corporate apps, translating business goals into scalable architectures while aligning with security and enterprise standards.

Location flexibility includes Purchase NY, Midtown NYC, Morristown NJ, Charlotte NJC, Conshohocken PA, Mt Juliet TN, or Lubbock TX offices. You’ll drive governance, designs, and project plans across teams.

Qualifications

• Translate business goals, functional and non-functional requirements into solution architectures.
• Lead architecture discussions across teams to align scope and approach.
• Provide architectural input into project estimates, dependencies, and risks.
• Define, review, and govern end-to-end design artifacts and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions across insurance, reinsurance and corporate apps.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure architectures with operational considerations.
• Develop high-level and detailed designs defining components, interfaces, dependencies.
• Ensure designs address scalability, resilience, performance, maintainability and supportability.
• Provide architectural leadership from ideation to transition to support.
