Job summary

CoverageX LLC seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to translate business requirements into clear technical designs and drive architectural direction across multiple systems and integrations. You will partner with executives, product owners, and project managers to enable engineering teams to execute efficiently.

You will lead design reviews, identify risks, and champion scalable, secure architectures, with hands-on involvement to unblock blockers and ensure reliable data flows across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development, with 4+ years in a senior role.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge in system design, microservices/distributed systems, cloud-native patterns, and API design.
• Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Excellent understanding of frontend (Vue/Nuxt/React/TypeScript) and backend (TypeScript, PHP, Java, Kotlin).
• Solid grasp of web security fundamentals (OWASP) and API/protocols (HTTP/REST/gRPC).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infra, and CI/CD automation.
• Hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clear technical designs, workflows, and system architecture.
• Review and validate technical approaches with development teams.
• Identify risks, edge cases, and system impacts early.
• Ensure integrations among internal systems and external services.
• Collaborate with executives, stakeholders, and product owners to define scope.
• Refine requirements with product owners to remove ambiguity.
• Document system requirements for the development team.
• Support developers by unblocking issues and providing guidance.
• Occasionally contribute code to resolve blockers and improve progress.
• Oversee data flow and integration reliability across platforms.
• Provide updates and recommendations to CTO and technology leaders.
• Translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Champion scalable, maintainable system design as new features are added.
