Qualifications

• University degree in computer engineering, IT, or similar
• 10+ years delivering IT solutions including solution architecture or related senior roles
• Strong P&C insurance industry experience and understanding of insurance processes and regulations
• Strong experience designing Azure cloud applications and platform solutions
• Experience creating architecture roadmaps and target/transition state designs
• Mentor and coach junior architects and teams
• Excellent communication to present concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to align solutions with goals
• Develop architectures for complex systems consistent with IT target architecture
• Create target designs and roadmaps for modernization and transformation
• Apply architecture principles, standards, and patterns for consistency
• Communicate objectives to stakeholders and guide implementation
• Ensure requirements related to security, regulatory needs, and risk are met
• Design architecture across apps, data, integrations, cloud, and infrastructure
• Produce high-level design documents and architecture diagrams
• Review designs with delivery teams for alignment with intent
• Coordinate cross-domain integration and end-to-end solution coherence
• Provide architecture leadership for Azure app and cloud platform design
• Support AWS and Dynamics 365 solutions where relevant
• Modernize legacy systems to interoperable patterns (FHIR, JSON-LD, GraphQL, Async APIs)
• Mentor architects and foster continuous learning
