Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to provide expert technical leadership for Ethernet switching and data center networking, acting as a trusted advisor to customers in pre-sales and post-sales deployments. The role emphasizes CPO and photonics-based networking systems, high-speed signaling, and AI fabric optimization.

Based at the San Jose headquarters, the candidate will lead complex troubleshooting, develop validation plans, and deliver deployment readiness for rack-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Engineering/CS), or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in Solutions Architecture, Technical Support, or Field AAE roles focused on networking and data center solutions.
• Deep understanding of Ethernet switching and data center networking.
• Experience with networking switch products and large-scale deployments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex HW/FW/Software integration issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical interface for customers on switch-related solutions, supporting pre-sales inquiries, solution design, deployment, and issue escalation.
• Lead development, integration, validation, and customer support of next-generation CPO and photonics-based networking systems, including high-speed SI/PI and AI fabric optimization.
• Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate cross-functional debugging with hardware, firmware, software teams, and vendors.
• Support customer rack integration, network configuration, validation, and deployment readiness procedures.
• Create deployment guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
