Qualifications

• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: pipelines, streaming, lakehouse.
• Proficient on the Databricks Platform with developing technical specialization.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience deploying to public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) with governance considerations.
• Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth.
• Excellent communication translating architecture to business value.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery through deployment and growth.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineering leads.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating differentiation through custom-built solutions.
• Develop and declare an emerging technical specialization (archetype).
• Coordinate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SSAs, Partners) to deliver complex solutions.
• Influence product direction by providing feedback on customer requirements and gaps.
