Job summary

Databricks is seeking a senior solutions architect in the United States (Maryland, Baltimore area) to own end-to-end technical strategy for large accounts from discovery through production deployment and consumption growth.

You will lead complex architecture discussions, design scalable, production-grade solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, and serve as a trusted advisor to customer architects, engineering leads and Directors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, or senior technical role.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems, scalable pipelines and lakehouse patterns.
• Proficient with Databricks Platform and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead architecture discussions: scalable, production-grade solutions across data, ML/AI, real-time analytics.
• Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors as a trusted technical liaison.
• Drive technical wins by showcasing Databricks differentiation with custom solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver complex customer solutions.
• Influence product direction with feedback on requirements and competition.
