Job summary

Guru is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and ship custom integrations that connect customer tools to Guru, beyond the standard platform. You will be the technical partner in early engagements, turning unique requests into reusable, scalable solutions.

You’ll lead on AI tooling, MCP-based integrations, and documentation, partnering with Customer Solutions Engineers to ensure successful outcomes for complex evaluations and expansions. This Senior IC role offers significant impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions architecture, software development, or technical consulting.
• Proven experience building custom integrations or automation.
• Strong coding ability in Python, with comfort in JavaScript or a similar language.
• Experience with API connections, webhooks, data migration tools, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build custom integrations: design and ship integrations and API connections connecting customer tools to Guru.
• Scope what’s possible: assess technical feasibility and recommend native, partner, or custom approaches.
• Build AI tooling and automation: create AI-powered tools and internal automations at scale.
• Be the go-to for Guru’s AI features: guide Knowledge Agent configuration, prompt design, and integrations.
• Solve hard technical problems: esc escalation point for API-level/integration issues across major platforms, document resolutions.
• Write documentation developers want to use: API guides, walkthroughs, code samples, troubleshooting references.
• Partner with CSEs and customers: participate in technical discovery calls, proofs of concept, and demos.
• Grow our partner ecosystem: contribute to partner integrations and Developer Network updates.
