Job summary

Humana, Inc. seeks a Lead Solutions Architect to drive enterprise architecture strategy and solution delivery across healthcare tech initiatives. You will define target-state architectures, govern designs, and accelerate cloud, data, and AI adoption across CenterWell and Humana Insurance.

You will partner with business leaders, product teams, engineering, security, and governance forums to enable Integrated Health and scalable, secure solutions. This is a remote role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8 years of progressive information technology experience related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other tech field.
• 5+ years of solution architecture in healthcare delivery or payer/provider ecosystems; regulated environments (HIPAA/PHI).
• Hands-on architecture across Azure services and Snowflake/Databricks data platforms.
• Leadership in reference architectures and governing solution designs across teams.
• Strong competency in APIs/event-driven integration, security models, and NFRs.
• Generative & Agentic AI experience on Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS with production-grade capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solution designs for healthcare initiatives, aligning to business outcomes.
• Create reference architectures for data platforms, NLP, RPA, and interoperability patterns.
• Lead governance checks to ensure privacy, security, and enterprise standards.
• Translate concepts into executable architectural runways with measurable NFRs.
• Define integration contracts and data-domain boundaries for provider data and EMR.
• Engage stakeholders and leadership, communicating decisions clearly.
