Job summary

Good co India is seeking a Solution Architect to design scalable, secure enterprise solutions across cloud platforms and integrations. You will translate business requirements into architecture, lead API/microservices design, and guide DevOps and security teams through modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in solution architecture or related role.
• Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise integration.
• Proficiency in Java, C#/.NET, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caching, messaging, and API management.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, and IaC.
• Experience in cloud migration and digital transformation.
• Strong design principles, security, scalability, high availability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive solution architectures, technical designs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead the architecture and design of enterprise applications, cloud solutions, APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, platforms, and third-party solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, engineering teams, Technical Architects, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Define solution architecture standards, design patterns, integration strategies, and technical best practices.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews to ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, performance, security, availability, and maintainability.
• Lead cloud migration, application modernization, digital transformation, and technology integration initiatives.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and engineering teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Prepare solution architecture documents, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and technology roadmaps.
• Support technology selection, proof-of-concept initiatives, vendor evaluations, and technical decision-making.
• Ensure solutions comply with organizational security, governance, regulatory, and architecture standards.
• Mentor developers, technical leads, and architects and promote engineering and architecture best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong hands‑on understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#/.NET, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, caching, messaging systems, and API management.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in cloud migration, application modernization, system integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, security, scalability, high availability, and performance optimization.
• Ability to evaluate technology alternatives and make architecture decisions based on business, technical, security, and cost considerations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and providing technical leadership and mentorship.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant master’s degree and professional certifications are an advantage.
