Job summary

Good co India is seeking an accomplished Cloud Architecture leader to design and drive enterprise-scale cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will translate business needs into robust roadmaps, establish IaC practices, and mentor engineers while guiding migration, security, and cost optimization efforts.

Applicants should have 5–10 years of cloud experience, deep knowledge of networking, security, and DevOps, and a relevant degree with preferred AWS/Azure/GCP certifications.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in cloud computing, infrastructure engineering, software engineering, DevOps, or solutions architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud platform AWS, Azure, or GCP with working knowledge of other cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies, application modernization, workload assessment, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, routing, VPN, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and private connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, secrets management, Zero Trust, and compliance.
  • Experience designing highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant, and disaster-resilient cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud cost management, performance optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps principles.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Experience with databases, storage, messaging, caching, APIs, and integration technologies.
  • Strong architecture, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and mentor engineering and cloud teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Implement cloud security architectures covering IAM, encryption, secrets management, network security, Zero Trust, and compliance.
  • Design high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions.
  • Establish Infrastructure as Code and automation practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or equivalent tools.
  • Define and improve CI/CD, DevOps, containerization, Kubernetes, and deployment strategies.
  • Drive cloud monitoring, observability, performance optimization, capacity planning, and operational excellence.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure and workloads for cost, performance, reliability, and resource utilization.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, security assessments, technology evaluations, and cloud readiness assessments.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, DevOps, security, data, networking, and business teams.
  • Evaluate emerging cloud services and technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and implementation guidelines.
  • Mentor cloud engineers, DevOps teams, and developers and provide technical leadership across cloud initiatives.
