Job summary

Good co India is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture Leader to define and drive a comprehensive technology strategy across business units in the United States. You will shape the long-term roadmap, govern standards, and collaborate with CIO/CTO, product, security, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise-wide technology strategy, architecture vision, and long-term technology roadmap.
• Align business objectives with IT strategy and ensure technology investments support organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, security, and integration domains.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, frameworks, governance processes, and technology policies.
• Evaluate current technology landscapes and identify opportunities for modernization, consolidation, and optimization.
• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation, cloud adoption, application modernization, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Review and govern solution and technical architectures to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate platforms, tools, and solutions based on business value.
• Identify technology risks, dependencies, scalability challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with business leaders, CIO/CTO teams, product teams, engineering, security, infrastructure, data, and other stakeholders.
• Develop enterprise architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, technology standards, and strategic plans.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and other architecture teams.
• Ensure enterprise solutions meet requirements for security, scalability, performance, availability, interoperability, and compliance.
• Support technology governance, vendor evaluation, technology selection, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technical architecture, or a related technology leadership role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, governance, and technology strategy.
• Proven experience designing and governing complex enterprise technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience across application, infrastructure, data, security, integration, and cloud architecture domains.
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, application modernization, and enterprise integration.
• Experience leading digital transformation, cloud migration, modernization, or large-scale technology initiatives.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, technology risk management, security, compliance, and business continuity.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work with senior business and technology leadership.
• Experience mentoring architects and technical teams and influencing architecture decisions across multiple teams.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree and relevant architecture certifications are an advantage.
