Job summary

Arkose Labs in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant to join our Sales team, leading technical customer conversations, running proofs of value, and driving deals to closure.

You will partner with customers to design effective fraud solutions through business and technical discovery across people, process, and technology, mentoring peers and collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or equivalent in a SaaS org.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
• Consultative approach to solving customer business challenges.
• Experience identifying and prioritizing business pain points with metrics.
• Track record of selling enterprise solutions to cross-functional teams.
• Ability to listen and pivot to address customer needs while maintaining meeting objectives.
• Process-oriented yet adaptable to next steps.
• Understanding of client- and server-side web tech.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and languages like Python, PHP, Go, or NodeJS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, webhooks, and POST requests.
• Understanding of encryption, keys, authentication, and web security.
• Knowledge of WAFs and CDNs in web app security.
• Hands-on with Postman, JSFiddle, CodePen, browser consoles, and IDEs like VS Code.
• Ability to write SQL with complex joins.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success to navigate complex opportunities.
• Communicate with stakeholders from individual contributors to C-levels.
• Drive the customer discovery process and identify critical business pain.
• Evangelize Arkose Labs solutions using value-based sales methods.
• Deliver value-based demos linked to customer objectives.
• Design a Solution Definition with customer and internal stakeholders for scalable value.
• Lead Proof of Value engagements with KPIs and success criteria.
• Identify and mitigate technical risk in opportunities.
• Mentor peers and enable cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Engineering, and Marketing.
