Job summary

Viridien in Houston, TX seeks a director-level solution architecture leader to define end-to-end technical designs and steer HPC, AI, and managed services opportunities from qualification to delivery. You will own architecture, ensure technical robustness, and drive differentiating value for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field; advanced degrees preferred
• 10+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, technical sales, or HPC/cloud infrastructure
• Track record influencing multi-million-dollar technology opportunities across HPC/AI cloud or enterprise infra
• Experience with strategic technology partners, hyperscalers, OEMs, and specialist delivery teams

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Pre-Sales from qualification to contract signature
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customer executives and technical stakeholders
• Present Viridien capabilities and lead executive briefs and workshops
• Own technical proposal input including architecture, pricing assumptions, migration approach
• Design scalable, secure HPC, AI, and managed services solutions for data-intensive workloads
• Drive requirements alignment with security, compliance, sustainability and delivery readiness
• Translate market feedback into portfolio enhancements and reference architectures
• Collaborate with technology teams to map customer requirements to development roadmaps
• Position Viridien as a technology leader through executive viewpoints and events
• Lead and mentor solution architecture and delivery contributors
