Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join its Defense & Intel team in a role based in Charleston, SC. You will shape technical strategies, craft winning proposals, and translate customer needs into innovative solutions across government programs.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in defense/intelligence, strong leadership, and a proven ability to deliver complex architectures and proposals. TS/SCI eligibility is required; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 10+ years of prior experience; higher experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading technical solutioning in defense/intelligence markets with DoW/IC context.
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is required.
• Ability to translate customer needs into compelling proposals and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customer shaping, requirements gathering, and proposal support activities.
• Collaborate with BD, Capture, and Proposal teams to craft winning, technically sound solutions.
• Lead development of technical volumes for proposals; ensure RFP compliance.
• Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions within cost and schedule.
• Conduct market research and articulate discriminators and value propositions.
• Develop system designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans for proposals.
• Lead and write technical proposals, whitepapers, and other collaterals.
• Provide responses to RFIs and government market surveys; prepare BOEs.
