Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead technical proposals and develop winning, cybersecurity-aware solutions for national security and space defense initiatives. The role demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams, and the ability to translate complex customer needs into clear, compliant technical content.

A TS/SCI-eligible clearance is required for many postings. Location options include multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience.
• Strong leadership capabilities to engage internal and external sources to develop concise solutions across DoW and IC.
• Experience leading technical solutioning with business development and capture teams in defense/intelligence markets.
• Ability to translate customer problems into technical objectives and interact with SMEs, stakeholders, and technical experts.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customer shaping, requirements gathering, and proposal support.
• Collaborate with BD, Capture, and Proposal teams to craft technically sound win strategies.
• Lead development of technical volumes for proposals and ensure compliance with RFPs.
• Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions that address mission challenges within budget/schedule.
• Conduct market research and articulate differentiators and value propositions.
