Cummins is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our Corporate IT team in Columbus, IN. You will design scalable architectures, lead enterprise standards, and build reference models across regions to drive value and adoption.

Responsibilities include influencing design, partnering with stakeholders, and validating new technologies through pilots and PoCs, ensuring capacity to support growth and performance.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in relevant technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in solution or system architecture in large, complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of modern architectural patterns, cloud platforms and integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable system architectures by defining component structures and interfaces between systems and applications.
• Champion enterprise architecture standards and ensure adherence to technology stacks, patterns, and best practices.
• Create and maintain global reference architectures for consistency and reusable building blocks.
• Influence solution development by translating technical strategy into practical, business-focused technology solutions.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions with business value.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead pilot programs and proofs-of-concept to validate capabilities.
• Assess infrastructure capacity and future tech needs to support growth and performance.
