Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Solution Architect for High Density 800VDC solutions in Charlotte, NC. You will be the primary technical lead, guiding engineering teams from concept to deployment and aligning Vertiv's product roadmap with customer roadmaps and performance requirements.

You will influence architecture decisions, own end-to-end design standards, and partner with Global Account Directors to drive adoption and strategic portfolio opportunities across hyperscale and frontier AI customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Experience leading architecture, design, or technical solution development for large-scale mission-critical power infrastructure deployments.
Deep expertise in mission-critical power systems and data center infrastructure.
Demonstrated success working with hyperscale and frontier AI engineering organizations.
Strong understanding of power distribution, protection, controls, and power quality systems.
Experience translating customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams without direct authority.
Strong technical communication and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Own the customer's end-to-end power architecture strategy from concept through deployment.
Lead development of future-state 800VDC architectures and scalable reference designs with customer teams.
Translate customer objectives and roadmaps into system requirements, reference architectures, and design principles.
Evaluate technology tradeoffs and long-term operational impacts to support decisions.
