About congruentX
congruentX is an AI-native CRM modernization and Mission Critical Agent company. We help organizations transform their Sales, Service, Marketing, and Contact Center operations by combining exceptional people with AI agents to deliver measurable business outcomes.
We are customer obsessed and we move fast. We measure success by the value we create for our clients, not by the hours we bill, and our engagements are outcomes-contracted. When our customers win, we win.
The Role:
The Senior Solution Architect is the design authority on large, multi-workstream engagements. These are typically $500K+ and run two or more quarters, with a dedicated Engagement Manager and a PM. This person owns the end-to-end solution architecture across platform, security, and AI/agent components. They work with Data and Technical Architects so that data and integration design fits the overall solution. They speak with business executives in business terms and translate business goals into technical requirements and architecture decisions that support the contracted outcome. They make sure what gets built can be delivered and supported, and that it actually produces the contracted outcome.
The role stays technically hands-on. It means prototyping, reviewing configuration, and stepping in on the hardest design problems. The center of gravity is architectural judgment, technical leadership of the build team, and getting the design right before the build starts. All of it is done through cX Core OS.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture and design authority
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture across D365 / Dataverse, Power Platform, and AI/agent components.
- Work with the Data Architect on the data model, migration strategy, and cutover sequencing, making sure the data design supports the solution architecture and the contracted outcomes.
- Work with the Technical Architect on integration patterns, middleware, and sync strategy, making sure the integration design fits the overall solution and its non-functional requirements.
- Design the security model: business units, teams, roles, field-level security, and alignment with the client's compliance and regulatory needs.
- Set the ALM and environment strategy, covering solution layering, source control, deployment pipelines, and release management.
- Define and validate non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, availability, and supportability.
AI and agent architecture
- Architect agentic components across tiers, including mission-critical agents tied to named jobs-to-be-done and decision moments.
- Define the agent guardrails, fallback paths, abort criteria, and manual overrides before launch. No agent goes live without a documented rollback plan.
- Design the telemetry needed to show agent performance, adoption, and outcome movement after launch.
Gate and outcome accountability
- Act as the technical approver at stage gates and at the Launch Readiness Review.
- Assess the technical and timeline/effort impact of proposed scope changes, and give the Engagement Manager a clear recommendation.
- Trace the architecture to contracted outcomes, so that every major design decision connects to what the client is paying for.
Technical leadership
- Lead the build team technically: developers, functional consultants, Solution Architects, and cX Ascend practitioners working through the Factory.
- Set and enforce spec quality standards so that designs handed to the build are complete and unambiguous, and rework is measurably reduced.
- Review configuration and code at key checkpoints, and unblock the team on complex design problems.
- Coach and develop Solution Architects and cX Ascend talent toward senior practice.
Client and platform
- Act as the senior technical counterpart to client business executives, IT, enterprise architecture, and security stakeholders. Speak to each in their own terms, and translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Lead architecture workshops and design reviews with client technical leadership.
- Capture reusable patterns, accelerators, and lessons learned, and feed them into the cX platform and the Factory standards.
- Use cX Core OS (cX proprietary AI-powered SDLC and Governance Tooling) as the standard way of working for all architecture work, including design, impact analysis, configuration review, and artifact production. This makes delivery more efficient, repeatable, scalable, and faster. Model Core OS use for the build team.
Required Qualifications
- 8-12+ years of enterprise CRM / business applications delivery, including at least 3 years as the lead architect on large D365 / Dataverse programs.
- Deep, hands-on expertise across D365 CE (Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service), Dataverse, and Power Platform.
- Working knowledge of data migration and integration architecture, and proven experience working with data and technical architects on large-scale programs.
- Experience designing enterprise security models and ALM / DevOps pipelines for Power Platform.
- Practical experience designing and shipping AI/agentic solutions in production. You must be willing to work through cX Core OS as the standard delivery toolset.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams, including offshore, junior, or mixed-seniority teams.
- Executive-level communication skills, including the ability to discuss business goals with business leaders in business terms, translate them into technical requirements, and defend design decisions to client architecture and security leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) and relevant functional or technical certifications.
- Familiarity with Azure services, enough to work effectively with Technical Architects on integration and data design.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.
- Experience in outcomes-based or fixed-fee delivery environments.
- Experience building reusable accelerators, reference architectures, or delivery standards.
What Success Looks Like
- The architecture delivers the contracted business outcome and holds through build and go-live without major redesign. Rework is low and can be measured.
- Specs handed to the build team pass quality review the first time.
- The solution, data, and integration designs stay aligned through build and go-live, with no late-stage conflicts between workstreams.
- Agents launch with documented guardrails and fallback plans, and their telemetry is live from day one.
- Scope changes come with a clear assessment of technical and timeline/effort impact before anyone commits to them.
- The build team, including cX Ascend practitioners, is rarely blocked waiting on design decisions.
- Client business and technical leaders both treat this person as the trusted authority on the solution. Business leaders can explain how the architecture delivers their outcome.
- Uses Core OS daily, visibly, and the work is faster and more repeatable as a result. The build team follows that example.
