Job summary

Bentley Mission Critical in Greeley, Colorado, is seeking a Senior Drafter to convert engineering designs into shop-ready drawings and SolidWorks models for modular data center structures. You will create high-level 3D assemblies and 2D fabrication drawings, with a focus on manufacturability and flow to production.

This role sits between Engineering and fabrication, supporting Lean implementations, resolving fit-up issues, and delivering accurate documentation, BOMs, and cut lists to keep

Qualifications

• 5+ years of drafting or design in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Advanced SolidWorks skills in weldments, sheet metal, routing, and large assemblies.
• Experience releasing fabrication blueprints to production with manufacturability focus.
• Experience implementing one-piece flow with measurable results.
• Knowledge of Lean tools: value stream mapping, takt time, standard work, 5S, kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Create SolidWorks 3D models, assemblies, and 2D fabrication drawings for modular data center products.
• Ensure drawings are buildable with correct tolerances and bend allowances.
• Produce complete drawing packages with BOMs, revisions, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Generate cut lists and nesting inputs for Purchasing and Production.
• Support production floor as single point of contact for drawings and fabrication questions.
