Job summary

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical design, proficiency with SolidWorks or Creo, and experience with large assemblies, BOMs, and GD&T.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical design or product design experience.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and/or Creo.
• Experience creating detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Experience with weldments, sheet metal, and large assemblies.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and ensure manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks and/or Creo.
• Create fabrication, assembly, weldment drawings, and BOMs.
• Prepare equipment layouts for modular and containerized data center systems.
• Design structural framing, supports, cable tray, access platforms.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure cost-effective designs.
• Support prototype build and design improvements.
• Prepare engineering change documentation and drawings revisions.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback.
