Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Groton, CT is seeking a Senior Solid State NMR Scientist to provide laboratory support in ssNMR data collection and interpretation for pharmaceutical materials.

The role involves applying ssNMR to characterize APIs and excipients, planning experiments, collaborating with Materials Science, and contributing to new approaches, with standard hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in chemistry or related field with ssNMR expertise or BA/MS with ssNMR experience.
• Experience in 1D/2D ssNMR data acquisition and interpretation.
• Familiarity with solid-state characterization techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply ssNMR to characterize a broad range of pharmaceutical materials.
• Quantitatively measure API and drug product components using ssNMR.
• Plan and perform experiments with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Materials Science to define characterization strategies.
• Maintain accurate electronic lab notebook entries per good practice.
