Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Senior Solid State NMR Scientist to provide laboratory support in ssNMR data collection and interpretation for pharmaceutical materials in Groton, CT.

You will apply ssNMR to characterize APIs and excipients, perform quantitative measurements, plan experiments, and collaborate with the Materials Science team to advance new approaches.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in chemistry or equivalent with ssNMR expertise or a B.A./M.S. with 2-3+ years ssNMR experience.
• Experience with ssNMR sample prep, data acquisition and interpretation of 1D/2D spectra.
• Experience in solid state characterization techniques is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Apply ssNMR to characterize a broad range of materials including APIs and excipients.
• Apply quantitative ssNMR methods to measure components in APIs and drug products.
• Plan and perform experiments with minimal supervision and document results.
• Collaborate with Materials Science to define characterization strategies.
• Contribute to development of new scientific approaches and knowledge.
