Job summary

Leidos in Virginia is seeking a SolarWinds Administrator to lead end-to-end monitoring management for the SolarWinds platform at Langley Air Force Base. You will install, upgrade, troubleshoot, create advanced SQL reports, and build dashboards to deliver actionable insights for IT operations.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, DoD TS/SCI clearance, and DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification. Onsite work and occasional after-hours support are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required
• DoD 8570/8140-compliant certification at IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+ CE) required
• 4+ years SolarWinds administration experience (modules)
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and administer SolarWinds monitoring tools
• Customize dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitoring requirements
• Collaborate with teams to define monitoring needs for devices, servers, apps
• Implement and manage SolarWinds monitoring solutions for proactive issue resolution
• Analyze SolarWinds data to identify bottlenecks and performance improvements
• Respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate resolution
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures for SolarWinds incidents
• Create and maintain documentation for SolarWinds configurations and best practices
• Develop and optimize dashboards for real-time visibility
• Configure monitoring templates, alerts, and reporting
• Review and update STIG requirements and remediations
• Provide training on SolarWinds products and monitoring principles
• SQL database configuration, support, and consultation
• Occasional after-hours on-call; travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations
