Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a SolarWinds Administrator to manage end-to-end SolarWinds monitoring for the organization, including installation, upgrades, and advanced SQL reporting. The role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and on-site work at Langley Air Force Base.

Responsibilities include designing and configuring dashboards, alerts, and reports; collaborating with IT teams; and maintaining security STIGs. Hybrid travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• DoD 8570/8140-compliant certification at IAT Level II - CompTIA Security+ CE at minimum
• 4+ years SolarWinds administration experience across modules
• Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and system architecture

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and administer SolarWinds monitoring tools
• Customize dashboards, alerts and reports to meet monitoring requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define monitoring requirements
• Implement and manage SolarWinds monitoring solutions for proactive issue resolution
• Analyze SolarWinds data to identify bottlenecks and optimizations
• Work with IT teams to improve system performance
• Respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and resolve issues
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures for SolarWinds incidents
• Document SolarWinds configurations, processes and best practices
• Develop and optimize dashboards for real-time visibility
• Configure and maintain monitoring templates, alerts, and reporting
• Review and update STIG requirements and remediation steps
• Provide training in SolarWinds products and monitoring principles
• Provide SQL database configuration, support, and consultation
• Occasional after-hours on-call; travel may be required
