Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Engineering Project Engineer to support solar, storage, and EVSE initiatives in the United States. You will manage engineering scope from notice to proceed through construction and closeout, collaborating with engineering firms and equipment vendors.

Responsibilities include site due-diligence, permitting, design package organization, and cost-effective procurement. You will coordinate across Operations, Asset Management, and Customer teams to ensure smooth project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field required.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Solar or BESS system design/project engineering.
• Experience with medium and high voltage equipment preferred.
• Experience with EVSE a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the company’s mission of engineering and constructing solar, storage, and EVSE projects.
• Manage all engineering aspects from notice to proceed through construction and close out.
• Work with project team to manage engineering scope from site due-diligence and permitting through commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with and continuity between Project Agreements by coordinating with engineering firms and vendors.
• Oversee cadence with customer during design and construction phases.
• Organize design packages with engineering firms.
• Manage equipment procurement process and ensure cost-effectiveness of technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance Group and Asset Management for project close out and handoff.
