Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Solar Project Manager to lead commercial solar projects from conception to completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholders across engineers, contractors, and customers to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering or Construction Management, 3+ years of solar PM experience on 1–10 MW sites, strong communication, and travel flexibility. This role offers remote-friendly work with site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in solar project management on 1–10 MW sites.
• Strong knowledge of solar technology, construction, and PM principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work independently.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of solar projects, including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operation.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans and ensure adherence.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers to meet requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess feasibility and identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Monitor progress and report status to senior management.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and specs.
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts timely.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
