Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Maintenance professional to oversee Seville assets in Ocotillo Wells, CA. The role emphasizes safety, operability, and preventive/predictive maintenance across PV solar sites and BOP systems.

You will manage maintenance programs, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure timely repairs while maintaining logs and records. The position requires HV switchyard experience, SAP familiarity, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in operation of Commercial Solar plants or 5 years of equivalent experience in instrumentation & controls, MV/HV Electrical work.
• Qualified to perform all routine and emergency operations at an electric generation facility and HV Switchyard.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems; troubleshooting; safe equipment handling; PV solar terminology and nomenclature.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safe work practices at PV solar plants and PV solar BOP repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain site availability at the highest operability, meeting contractual obligations and budget.
• Manage the plant maintenance program focusing on safety, planning/scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Monitor and report on maintenance by internal and third-party efforts.
• Supervise or assist in troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment, tools, and inventory.
• Inspect completed repairs and scheduled maintenance for quality assurance.
• Maintain logs documenting operating conditions and report irregularities.
• Ensure work complies with Environmental and Safety requirements.
• Communicate with Management and site personnel on operational issues.
• Participate in contract negotiations with sub-contractors and vendors.
• Maintain manuals, updates, and work instructions for PV systems.
• Work overtime and non-standard hours (nights) as required.
