Job summary

Clearway Energy is seeking a maintenance lead for the Seville assets in Ocotillo Wells, CA. You will monitor safety practices and maintain site operability while coordinating maintenance with contractors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 3 years on commercial solar plants or 5 years in instrumentation & controls/Electrical work (MV/HV). Proficiency with SAP and MS Office is required. The role is hybrid, with a pay range of $90,000–$105,000 USD annually.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the operation of Commercial Solar plants or 5 years of equivalent experience in instrumentation & controls, MV/HV Electrical work.
• Qualified to perform all routine and emergency operations at an electric generation facility and HV Switchyard.
• Experience with plant systems and CMMS systems (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safe work practices for PV Solar plants and BOP repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain sites availability at high operability and meet contractual obligations and budget.
• Manage the maintenance program with emphasis on safety, planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Monitor and report on manufacture and third-party maintenance and repair efforts.
• Supervise and assist in troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Manage spare parts, supplies, equipment, tools, and reordering.
• Inspect repairs and scheduled maintenance for quality and maintain logs/records.
• Ensure work complies with Environmental and Safety requirements.
• Communicate with management and site personnel on operational and maintenance issues.
• Participate in contract negotiations with subcontractors and vendors.
• Maintain manuals, updates, and work instructions; develop standard work procedures.
• Work nights and overtime as required.
