Job summary

Semper Solaris is seeking a Lead Inspection Technician in California to ensure residential solar system installations meet NEC codes and company standards. You will review completed work, liaise with AHJ inspectors, perform basic troubleshooting, and document corrective actions.

Training and collaboration with the internal team are essential to maintain quality and safety. Requires 3 years in residential solar/electrical, blueprint reading, NEC knowledge, and a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in residential solar and electrical.
• Reading blueprints or plans, basic electrical theory, NEC knowledge.
• Valid CA driver’s license and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Review installations to ensure compliance and pass final inspection.
• Meet with AHJ inspector and present the project professionally.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on solar system.
• Document technical corrections clearly.
• Provide training and feedback to inspection technicians.
• Develop positive relationships with city inspectors.
