Job summary

SOLV Energy in Tremonton, UT is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of solar facilities. This role requires leading safety practices, supervising technicians, and coordinating with PM and EPC teams to maintain high availability and safe operations.

The candidate will travel to remote sites, work in varied weather, and train other technicians on SCADA systems, protection devices, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Minimum four years of solar facility maintenance and repair experience.
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e safety training required.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, telemetry, and network issues.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities; able to train others.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for solar facilities.
• Lead safety programs and enforce company and industry safety standards.
• Provide on-site supervision and training for technician levels I–IV.
• Prepare site operation reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with PM, EPC, and performance teams to optimize availability.
