Job summary

Sunrun is looking for a Field Performance Technician 3 to perform advanced troubleshooting and service diagnostics, lead training for the Field Performance team, and uphold electrical certifications. This role requires strong customer service skills, a high school diploma, and specific field experience in the solar industry. It offers a starting wage between $31.94 to $42.59 per hour. The position demands a solid understanding of electrical codes, organizational skills, and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent per local and state requirements.
• 3+ years of previous field construction experience required, with at least 1 year as a service technician in the solar industry.
• PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Work with Electrical Foreman to allocate labor resources.
• Assist with training and development for team members.
• Lead meetings to train on best practices.

Skills

Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Customer Service: Ability to establish rapport

Education
