Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Senior Solar Farm Technician to lead on-site operations, safety, and maintenance across the regional solar assets. You will operate and monitor plants, supervise maintenance, and collaborate with engineers, asset managers, and subcontractors to ensure reliable energy generation.

The role requires at least 6 years in renewable energy and power plant operations, a valid driver’s license, and a dedication to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited US school preferred.
• NABCEP Certification or Electrical License is preferred.
• Unrestricted driver license in good standing.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in renewable energy and power plant operations.
• Experience supervising maintenance or contractors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and maintenance of solar plants within the region to meet performance targets.
• Supervise daily operation, preventive/predictive maintenance, and event response.
• Coordinate third-party contractors and liaise with on-site teams.
• Produce operational reports for Asset Management and Project Development.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry best practices.
