Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Senior Software Tester to lead validation activities and ensure high-quality releases. You will design tests, guide junior testers, and work with engineering to refine requirements and coverage across functional and performance areas.

The role emphasizes mentoring, root-cause analysis, and driving improvements in testing processes in an onsite environment in Garland, Texas. A strong background in both functional and non-functional testing is expected, including automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years in software or system testing with strong fundamentals.
• Experience with black/white box, load, performance, and regression testing.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking tools.
• Exposure to distributed or networked systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Lead validation across multiple systems and environments.
• Identify and prioritize defects with detailed analysis.
• Mentor junior testers and guide testing efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve test coverage and requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis on complex issues and improve processes.
