Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Software Test & Verification Engineer (Experienced/Senior) to join the Ground Software Engineering team onsite in El Segundo, CA or Seal Beach, CA. You will help develop automated regression tests and delivery-ready software for aerospace programs, in a fast-paced CI/CD environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in software lifecycle, strong test automation, and proficiency with Java/C++/Python, Agile/DevOps, and DoD clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 5+ years in the software development lifecycle.
• At least 3+ years with test automation and scripting.
• 3+ years with Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience in Agile software development and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support verification development and review of test cases and procedures.
• Lead software test team in formal verification of software requirements.
• Lead FATs with the test team and maintain run logs.
• Document issues using change control tools.
• Report burn-up charts and status at program reviews.
• Track open issues to closure to meet deliverables.
• Coordinate with Ground Mission Software and other teams.
• Release software life cycle documents per Boeing process.
• Ensure compliance with software development and verification processes.
• Support Change Control Board activities.
• Plan deliverables: verification plans, deviations, tests.
