Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Flight Software Engineer (Experienced/Senior) to join the Flight Software Team in El Segundo, CA or Mountain View, CA. You will design, develop, and test software for embedded systems used in space programs, collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-assurance solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance post-start (U.S. Citizenship required).
5+ years of software development experience in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
5+ years of experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems.

Responsibilities

Design, integrate, modify, test, and debug embedded software meeting standards.
Translate customer requirements for embedded software products.
Write and test code for embedded systems on specific hardware.
Integrate embedded software with hardware components.
Analyze and improve efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
Drive software execution to deliver on schedule and cost targets.
Produce design/test documentation and artifacts; participate in CVA for satellite platforms.
