Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Test Engineer III to lead quality strategy and testing for POS solutions in retail. You will translate requirements into test scenarios, guide junior team members, and drive quality improvements across the testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, collaborating with product teams, and maintaining robust test environments. Strong automation and Java skills are required, with US work authorization and Raleigh-Durham

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of software test methodologies and quality strategy.
• 5+ years in software test engineering.
• Experience with test coverage analysis, test execution, and defect management.
• Participates in Agile SDLC with project management tools.
• Test automation experience (Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Postman, TestNG, etc.).
• Basic programming skills in Java.
• Basic understanding of Linux commands and filesystem.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Aufgaben

• Work with test management to implement quality improvement processes and test coverage.
• Stay updated on industry practices to enhance testing tools and solutions.
• Provide estimates for system setup, test cases, execution time, and resources.
• Set up test environments and manage test equipment inventory.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with product/development teams on test coverage.
• Design and execute test cases, report defects, and track resolutions.
• Communicate test status, risks, and quality decisions to leads and managers.
• Create documentation for test initiatives, processes, and traceability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior teammates.
