Job summary

Mainz Brady Group in Minnetonka, MN is seeking an experienced Software Test Technician to support software and integrated system releases in a regulated medical device environment. You will perform hands-on testing, develop automated test scripts, and build test tools using C#, WPF, and C++ while maintaining traceability in Jama.

Collaborate with Software Engineering, V&V, and Quality teams, support Jenkins CI/CD, and contribute to audit-ready documentation for regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development and/or software testing experience in regulated environments.
• Hands-on development with C# and WPF; C++ experience is required.
• Experience with NUnit, Google Test, or JUnit for automated testing.
• Understanding of SDLC and software QA in regulated settings.
• Degree or certification in software-related field; bachelor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts and test cases.
• Build automated test tools using C#, WPF, and C++.
• Maintain automated test suites with NUnit/Google Test/JUnit.
• Verify software against requirements, specs, and test plans.
• Set up test benches and environments; document results with traceability.
• Log, retest, and track defects; supporting resolution.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, tests, and results in Jama.
• Support CI/CD with Jenkins; assist with test execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with Software Eng, V&V, QA for test coverage.
• Assist troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
• Test image processing and DICOM workflows; audit-ready docs.
