Job summary

Monteris Medical is seeking a Software Test Technician/Engineer to join our Minnesota/Winnipeg hybrid team. You will develop and execute manual and automated tests for medical device software, collaborating with software engineers and QA to ensure robust verification and validation across WPF, C#, and C++ environments.

You will build automated test scripts using NUnit, Google Test, and JUnit, maintain traceability in Jama, and support Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development and/or software testing.
• Associate degree or technical certification required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with C# and WPF; C++ experience and test automation is a plus.
• Hands-on with automated test frameworks such as NUnit, Google Test, JUnit.
• Experience with Jama for requirements management and Jenkins for automation orchestration is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and test tools using C#, WPF, and C++.
• Execute manual and automated test protocols in accordance with approved test plans and specifications.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using NUnit, Google Test, JUnit.
• Set up, configure, and maintain test environments and lab equipment for verification testing.
• Record and report test results, defects, and anomalies with traceable documentation.
• Support automated test execution and reporting through Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with software engineers and quality personnel to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Assist in risk planning and regulatory submissions by ensuring test documentation is audit-ready.
