Job summary

Geneoscopy HQ in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Software Test Engineer III to design and implement automated and manual verification tests. You will build test data pipelines, automate lab instrument data pulls, and maintain AWS infrastructure while supporting full-stack development.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience with automated testing, frameworks, and collaboration in a hybrid environment. Strong knowledge of Python/Java and CI/CD is expected.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience developing software testing tools.
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience designing reusable, maintainable test structures.
• Strong understanding of page object models, full-stack apps, and microservices.
• Proficient with Python or Java.
• Experience with AWS, RESTful APIs, Selenium, and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, and execute formal automated and manual tests.
• Interpret, document, and report testing results to maintain FDA/CAP/CLIA compliance.
• Review requirements to develop automated testing strategy for a product or release.
• Code reusable test functions or components.
• Log and track defects and verify fixes.
• Develop tools to assist testing as needed.
• Assist with defect resolution and validation.
• Collaborate with lab teams to reproduce issues and troubleshoot.
