Job summary

Saransh Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in Test / Senior Automation Engineer in O'Fallon, MO. The role is a W2 contract with hybrid work (2 days onsite).

You will deliver Test Engineering services, including regression testing, code quality, and automation across environments. You will author automated test suites, perform regression/integration testing, and collaborate with DevOps, Developers, and PMs to drive quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 9 years of automation testing experience with Java.
• Strong Java coding experience.
• Experience with JUnit, JBehave or Cucumber frameworks.
• Testing of Web services, Web UI and APIs.
• Ability to create test automation scripts and integrate with CI pipelines.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and code quality tools.
• Familiarity with Sonar, Clover, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience in Agile environments and exploratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Author automated test suites for UI, API, and backend testing.
• Execute regression and integration testing across environments.
• Identify testing gaps and coordinate with Test/Dev teams to remediate.
• Conduct structured exploratory testing to validate user expectations.
• Analyze user stories and define test coverage across levels.
• Track regression progress and defects in Rally.
• Promote best practices for quality engineering across teams.
• Collaborate with Test, DevOps, Product, and PM to scope and deliver services.
• Support adoption of Quality Engineering and CI/CD practices.
