Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a QA Tester to join our hybrid team in St. Louis, MO on a 12-month contract.

The role focuses on manual testing, validating business rules, data flows, and customer journeys across digital channels. You will work within an Agile product team, crafting test cases and executing them across multiple releases. Responsibilities include defect documentation, collaboration with developers and analysts, and ensuring release readiness through end-to-end

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on manual software testing or QA experience.
Experience creating and executing manual test cases and test scenarios.
Experience with functional, system, integration, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.
Experience testing applications against requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience documenting, tracking, retesting, and closing software defects.
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum product delivery environment.
Hands on experience with Zephyr Scale, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and designs to determine test coverage.
Develop and execute detailed manual test cases and scenarios.
Perform various testing types including functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, and negative tests.
Validate data flows, business rules, and customer journeys.
Identify test data needs and maintain reusable regression test suites.
Communicate testing progress, results, risks, and release-readiness.
