Geneoscopy in St. Louis (hybrid) seeks a Software Test Engineer III to design and implement automated and manual verification tests, supporting data collection and ML data pipelines. You’ll help maintain AWS infrastructure, conduct full-stack testing, and align with FDA/CAP/CLIA/data privacy requirements.

The role emphasizes scalable test architectures, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentoring teammates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience developing software tools to aid in testing.
• Experience in designing automated testing frameworks.
• Test structures that are reusable, maintainable, resilient, performant, and scalable.
• Understanding of page object models, full-stack web applications, and microservices.
• Proficiency in AWS, RESTful APIs, Selenium Webdriver, PyTest, TestNG, and TestCafe.
• Hands-on experience in virtualizing services for test automation using Postman, MockServer, and Mockito.
• Knowledge of Python and Java.
• Analytical skills and ability to communicate complex issues simply.
• Ability to learn and collaborate with others in a multi-functional and specialty environment.
• Experience creating test reports from automated test runs.
• Multitask and thrive in an agile, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient verbal and written communication; share information across levels.
• High ethics and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Create, document, and execute formal automated & manual tests.
• Interpret, document, and report testing results to maintain compliance with FDA, CAP/CLIA, and data privacy regulations.
• Review software requirements to develop an automated testing strategy.
• Code reusable test functions or components.
• Execute automated testing across multiple systems, platforms, environments, or browsers.
• Log and track defects, report issues, and verify fixes.
• Develop tools to assist with testing as needed.
• Assist with defect resolution and validation.
• Collaborate with the lab to reproduce and identify issues.
• Work with multidisciplinary groups and promote quality across development.
• Support CI/CT/CD pipeline implementation.
• Perform work under minimal supervision and solve complex problems.
• Demonstrate comprehensive subject matter knowledge.
• Coach or mentor others as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
