Job summary

ANA is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer – Energy Systems Verification in Henderson, NV for an onsite role. You will own test definition, test execution, and verification across generator, hybrid energy, and load bank systems, interfacing with edge and cloud platforms.

You will lead test infrastructure, collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to shape the verification strategy and release quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in software testing, with leadership experience.
• 3+ years testing and validating hybrid energy systems.
• Proficient with Embedded Linux, Docker, Python, Modbus TCP/RTU, and CAN bus.
• Proficient testing RESTful APIs using Python and pytest.
• Proficient with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience verifying hardware-connected or physically-backed systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute verification plans for power system behavior and test cases.
• Build and operate bench, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop setups.
• Integrate testing with load banks, CAN bus analyzers, multimeters, and auto test equipment.
• Validate end-to-end data integrity in dashboards, reports, and notifications.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to results and verification records.
• Own test configuration including units under test and lab space.
