Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Software Systems Engineer (SSE) to blend software development, Linux systems administration, systems engineering, and RF-focused integration in a mission-driven environment. The role involves leading junior developers, supporting critical RF systems, and ensuring reliability, availability, and security of operations.

You will design and develop complex software in C, C++, Python; manage Debian-based Linux systems; implement security practices; and collaborate with RF

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a technical field.
• DevOps automation experience and infrastructure as code.
• Strong Linux skills on Debian/systemd environments.
• Familiar with RF-centric systems and secure configurations.
• Ability to work independently in a security-conscious setting.
