Job summary

SAIC seeks a highly analytical Senior Software Systems Engineer to support the Precision Fires program in Huntsville, AL. You will drive requirements development, technical documentation, and cross-functional integration in an Agile setting.

Responsibilities include end-to-end systems engineering, DOORS requirement management, and collaboration via Azure DevOps to track requirements. A strong background in the software lifecycle and Army acquisition processes is highly valued.

Qualifications

Strong background supporting systems engineering across the complete software development lifecycle.
Army Acquisition Life Cycle experience is a strong plus.
Hands-on DOORS data and requirement management experience.
Experience using Azure DevOps for requirements support is highly desired.
Able to analyze complex requirements and cascading impacts on software testing, safety, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end systems engineering activities for Precision Fires programs within an Agile environment.
Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the software lifecycle.
Utilize IBM DOORS for requirement data management and traceability, export RVMs.
Collaborate using Azure DevOps for requirements tracking and support.
Align system requirements with Software Safety, Test, and Cybersecurity.
Author, review, and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
