Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the US Army customer.

You will apply systems engineering across the lifecycle within an Agile framework, shaping requirements, writing technical docs, and coordinating cross‑disciplinary integration to ensure program success. The role requires 9+ years in systems engineering, DOORS experience, and familiarity with Army Acquisition Life Cycle; Azure DevOps for requirements support is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of systems engineering experience across the full software lifecycle.
• Experience with Army Acquisition Life Cycle is a strong plus.
• Hands-on DOORS experience (9.7.x) for data and requirement management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for requirements support.

Responsibilities

• Systems Engineering & Analysis: perform full-spectrum systems engineering tasks for programs in Agile development environments.
• Requirements Management: create, evaluate, and maintain system requirements across the software lifecycle.
• Hands-On DOORS Administration: manage requirement data using IBM DOORS (9.7.x).
• Agile Collaboration: participate in scrums and use Azure DevOps for tracking requirements.
• Cross-Functional Integration: align system requirements with Software Safety, Test, and Cybersecurity.
• Technical Documentation: write and update technical documents and specifications.
