Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Software Configuration Analyst for the Precision Fires program to oversee, implement, and maintain robust software version control systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field and two (2) years’ experience; Additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
• Active DoW Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one; US Citizenship required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in configuration and data management supporting large-scale Agile, complex software or DoW programs.
• Proficient with DevSecOps and Agile tools such as ADO, Jira, Confluence, Git, and version control repositories.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint or equivalent collaboration and document management software, e.g. VDD, SVD, IP etc.

Responsibilities

• Process Leadership: Perform software management, SCM process audits, and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with guidelines.
• Azure DevOps Governance: Define and maintain Azure DevOps project configurations, YAML pipelines, and branching/merging strategies.
• Baseline & Documentation Control: Oversee baseline identification, configuration status accounting, and documentation control.
• Software Change Management: Contribute to CCB operations, CR workflows, ensuring technical completeness and traceability.
• Release Management: Support version control policies, code merging strategies, and deployment practices using ADO environments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, testing, and program management teams.
