Sora Resource Group is seeking a Senior Software Support Engineer to own complex production issues across its SaaS platforms. This role is hands-on, working with application code, databases, integrations, and cloud infrastructure to diagnose and implement lasting solutions.

You'll partner with Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support to improve stability, performance, and customer experience while contributing to automation and modernization efforts.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or production support.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting across application code, databases and infrastructure.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL and familiarity with AngularJS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, logging and root-cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and authentication/SSO.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.

Mansioni

• Own complex technical challenges: lead Tier 3 production support from diagnosis to resolution.
• Troubleshoot issues involving Rails, React/TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL, including targeted code fixes.
• Perform root-cause analysis across apps, databases, integrations, and infra.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product and Support to improve stability.
• Develop scripts, tools, and AI-assisted solutions to streamline troubleshooting.
• Contribute to product evolution through modernization initiatives.
• Become a technical expert on the company's SaaS applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve technical documentation.
